Aluminium Seating - Yirramagardu Western Australia

Location

Located in the Roebourne, 1500 kilometres north of Perth, the Yirramagardu Community Association (YCA) – in conjunction with the City of Karratha, required seating options for their undercover sporting facilities.

Requirement

With no formalised seating, spectators had to stand to watch sporting events. With perfect seating spacing between the existing structural supports of the facility, it was determined that aluminium low-rise grandstand seating would be an ideal solution.

Solution

To meet these needs, they consulted with BAB Aluminium who recommended a range of 2, 3 and 4 tier aluminium grandstands to suit the available spaces. Manufactured in Sydney and flat pack shipped to Karratha, the low tier grandstands came with easy to assemble – free standing (mobile) or bolt down instructions.

Result

The tiered aluminium grandstands now provide comfortable and unobstructed seating for spectators. Given the tough environment they will be subjected to, their 20-year structural warranty will also ensure they provide sound service for many years to come.
