Roebourne Aluminium Seating - Western Australia
Client name: Roebourne
Project name: Roebourne aluminium grandstand seating
Project location: Roebourne, Western Australia
Roebourne is a former gold rush town in Western Australia's Pilbara region. It is 202 km from Port Hedland and 1,563 km from Perth. Enjoying a temperate climate, many school sporting activities are conducted under an open roofed area that provides shade but offers little in regard to seating.
There was a requirement to provide sturdy and safe seating to the children of the school (and other spectators) while watching sport activities. The construction of the shelter allowed for the seating to be located between the columns to minimise the space required.
Double-sided, 3-tier grandstand seating were recommended as they allowed viewing on both sides and featured individual footrests for each tier. Located between the building columns, the seating takes up minimal ‘active’ space while maximising seating.
The highly durable, aluminium 3-tier grandstands now offer unobstructed and safe viewing for spectators. Designed to manage the rough and tumble of school sport and general school activities, their 20-year structural warranty will ensure seating longevity. Lightweight, they can also be moved and configured to suit other spectator (and event) needs.
